As Organizações Globo (Globo Comunicação e Participações S.A.) divulgou na última quinta (31) ao mercado seu faturamento em 2010. A receita do grupo, que engloba TV Globo, canais Globosat, Globo.com, TV Globo Internacional, Globo Filmes, Rádio Globo, Som Livre e Editora Globo, chegou a R$ 10.4 bilhões, quantia 24% superior a 2009.

O recorde de faturamento vem junto com a notícia da conquista do posto de 3ª maior emissora do mundo, atrás apenas de ABC e CBS. Os dados são consolidados e referente ao ano de 2010.Segundo a jornalista Keila Jimenez, desses  R$ 10,4 bilhões, R$ 7,5 bilhões são de investimentos de publicidade, outros R$ 1,9 com vendas de conteúdo, entre outras receitas.
